MARK OF NAZARENE

$12.00

THE GOLDEN NAZARENE PATCH /// is the second patch that is dropping matches the same color scheme as the owl. However this patch also has HUUUUGE meaning! It is not an original concept by PW - but inspired and blessed by one of the originators who sold it as a edition limited embroidered version this a few years back, in interest of keeping awareness of its story, meaning and significance. This symbol on this patch to some is known as the "Nazarene" or "Nun".

As we celebrate Christmas -- this patch sets the stage for the sacrifices and persecution that Christians have had to endure.

Could you even imagine being a Christian and being afraid to celebrate Christmas or doing so quietly in fear? This patch is sounding the horn!

This is about awareness of the intolerance of Christians throughout the world - but significantly in the middle east on the front lines in places like Mosul. This symbol from the Arabic alphabet is defined as "Nun" or "Nunn" and also known as the mark of "Nazarene". This was painted to mark the homes of Christians in these war torn regions to identify them as the enemy and show that they must convert away from Christianity, or pay a HUGE tax and even sometimes to be paid with their life!

/// We must have awareness and understanding of such intolerance exists as a society so that we have a knowledge to influence change. ///

To most of us, Christmas is a time of celebration and relaxation after a busy month of shopping in anticipation to enjoy some eggnog, smiles of faces whom you have given a gift to and breaking bread with our friends, family and fellow neighbors, NOT a time to fear - but a time of Joy! We must not forget that we simply exist in a fallen world, and we all don't have the freedoms to openly celebrate "The Most Wonderful Time Of the Year" as famously coined in the classic song. There is great suffering for many in the world who are of the Christian Faith and as Christians continue to suffer from others on account of their faith (especially in battle torn regions where Christians are a minority) we recognize their fight, and dedication even when its the hard thing to do.

This hook backed Velcro patch is to be worn or placed in a prominent position to show solidarity with Christians whom have suffered or lost their lives because of their devotion of their Faith (including Jesus himself), a gift given to us which began on a Christmas night long ago in the town of Bethlehem. We hope this patch will raise awareness of global events and persecution that Christians to this day endure as we celebrate this season. This patch hopefully starts a conversation and opens a door for you to tell others to spread PEACE and JOY this Christmas season!
